Only Fools and Horses and Fawlty Towers were exceptional.

The Young Ones were brilliant, I mean, they had a pet rat that talked, how much better can you get? Also, Alexei Sayle doing Mussolini impressions and Neill having a bath.

Modern greats include the Office and the Green Wing. Guy has to be one of the best characters of all time.

Haven't seen OFAH but I did enjoy 'The Office', On the buses & Love thy Neighbour (you couldn't air that these days though...you'd be lynched).

The Brits beat the Yanks hands down for the standard of their comedy...and broadcasting in general!!   :D

I wouldnt say that.. what about:

taxi
cheers
larry sanders show
gary shandling
news radio
scrubs
sports night
curb your enthusiasm

and the more bizarre
starved
hermans head

now compare that to: ever decreasing circles, may to december and stuff like that...
