Smicer is good...if we settle for second best players or compare him to the Everton players! He is cr@p, an underachiever, scores lucky goals and is always inept, only less so than Heskey. I know that Supersub says that Smicer has improved this year and perhaps he has. The bottom line is he is not good enough and perhaps was bought by Kermit because he used to paly in the French league (RC Lens and if I am not mistaken, that was Kermit's former club).
I am exasperated every time Smicer plays because he always loses possession, especially approaching the opposition penalty area and shoots like a sissy. Probably if Liverpool put him up for a free transfer, no club would want to foot his exorbitant wages given his limited abilities!. For that matter other Liverpool players who shoot like sissies but call themselves "attacking players" are Heskey, Diouf and Cheyrou.
Supersub, I am speaking out of frustration at these bunch of sissies with no fighting spirit, and I admire you for your optimism in these present bunch and know that you are too nice to say what I just said.

I simply don't think Smicer is suited to English football or the roles Kermit gives him. He looks more comfortable in International football and that is supposedly the highest level
