Not showing any pics bud. I don't see the need.

I do agree that TR football is more boring that EPL. But our CL teams are not as weak as they are boring. Especially Fenerbahce is on a good track. Definitely a team that could hurt if you underestimate. Anyway, this is LFC forum, I am not justifying anything... :)

But your response to Bigmick and his reaction to Mauexa is what you reacted to. I cant abide hypocrisy or nitpicking, some would say they are very much the same.

But you pulled me up for an mistake so surely by your own words you are guilty of both nitpicking and hipocrisy. :D

Ok here is the latest. Xabi also agrees with all the terms. It seems that Xabi will be signing with FB as soon as FB can let Kezman go. In TR, teams may not have more than 8 foreign players. 6 can play at once and 2 must wait in the bench. Kezman's departure is waited for Xabi to be announced.

What I can't understand is why no top clubs seem to be interested in signing him. I know the price must be putting a few off but I would have thought a few clubs would have been trying to get him.

Arsenal, Juventus, Inter tried to sign him. Juve offered 20.5 million. I believe LFC did not want to sell to Arsenal to not have him compete against LFC. Inter was trying Lampard I guess they decided on someone else. Another "top" team almost signed him :;):

I don't believe the Arsenal rumour at all mate, they are more skint than we are! Inter have never as far as I am aware shown much interest. We maybe should have sold to Juventus for £14million and a pkt of crisps if we wanted to get shut.

Was he at training today with the rest of the lads.

Do you know what i think Xabi has handled all this tranfer malarky talk with dignity . the mans a gent. Reading a quote from him regadarding a question about his future

"Everyone treats me so well here," ... "There are a few stories over a possible transfer but I would prefer not to talk about my future"

Well done Xabi lad for saying nowt. Now thats the true Liverpool way

@Saint
I think Aragones and Guiza has some effect on his decision. I heard 17.5 millions pounds to be paid to LFC and about 4.4 million to him annually. This 4.4 million is after tax in the pocket amount as TR has very different tax regulations. This might also have an effect on him. How much is he earning at LFC?

@Nanny Red
I agree with you. From the way he talks he sounds like a straight forward guy. I like how humble he is. R.Carlos is also the same. He is as humble as he is a star. Xabi, if he signs, will be a HUGE deal...
