I hope we don't give up on duff or cisse,both are at clubs that are relatively small compared to us,both players would jump at the chance as long as we offer a decent amount of money to their clubs. I don't want an unproven player...if we buy Kanoute i will be disgusted..another 8 goals a season striker.Why are we looking at him ??

yeah i'd be well ***** off if we spend milions on Kanoute, can't see him making any significant difference. Eto'o from Cameroon also says he wants to join us but that would just be another massive gamble! We need proven quality that will give the whole club a lift. Duff and Cisse for me would be great signings, Kewell would be even better. . . we can't settle for mediocrity! and we can't rely on Dioufy and Riise on the wings they'd be too easy to defend against, we need players who will provide the unexpected to unlock defences.

what the hell is gh thinking about?

i wonder if its this...'if i buy more 18 yr olds, i may be able to convince the board that they need more time and they might extend my contract by 5 years'...

and thats just great gh, u'll be at liverpool 10 years and have no premierships...u ought to be proud of urself.!!!!!!

Liverpool's future is dependant on the players that can perform now not in 4-5years time.We can't afford to wait.

Heskey was good at Leicester and has been fairly average at Liverpool, hard to understand as he didn't have to move overseas or acclimatise himself to english football
