What a daft pointless argument.

Anyway I disagree with the boys above about passing up the chance to go tonight because of the competition we're in, financial reasons I fully respect and understand. It doesn't have much bearing on me which European competition we are in, one of my first European night games was Barcelona in the UEFA Cup in 2001 with Garry Mac and his penalty, that was a great European night at Anfield.

I can't wait for tonight, fingers crossed the fans do make the noise but I can only pray that the boys on that pitch give us reason to continue the noise. Woke to a text off my old man this morning which said "Imagine if they score in they score in the first 10", Anfield will be a morgue for the remaining 80 minutes.

Sterling played up top earlier in the season and whilst he hasn't got the finishing skills of Sturridge he has got the pace to worry the CBs.

f***k me, thats hardly a goal scoring line up, cant say im to happy with that team. I hope im wrong and we get the win, an earlyish goal would really set the tone

Again with both Lucas and Allen in midfield? Not so sure about that. Would have preferred a bit more attacking line-up, with Sterling starting instead of Allen. Hope he gets a chance to play. Maybe we should try it with Assaidi as well.
