LIVERPOOL VS VALARENGA - K/o 18:00

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Postby Greavesie » Sat Jul 30, 2011 5:51 pm

Last one I started we won, let's hope I can build up some form before the season starts. Never heard of these if I'm being honest and more away trips don't particularly please me but just this one more then we get to play at home.

I have no idea who's fit or anything so if I had it my way I'd go for something like this

                 Pepe
Kelly     Carra    Skrtel   Robbo

             Adam   Raul

Hendo         Aqua      Downing
                 Carroll

I know that line up is unlikely but I want to see a decent first team side out and see how we get on, though its more likely that'll be saved for Valencia.

EDIT - not a clue why I've put an extra 'e' on the oppos name :D

oh, and the game's on the 1st August   :)

With only 2 friendlies left before season kick off, we need to start seeing something that may resemble the first 11.

As least get downing, adam and henderson playing, perhaps with aquilani ( because of gerrards fitness )

2 friendlies left, wow, to me it feels as though we haven't had that many this year - what's worse is that we're shopping windowing dross.

Kenny must have 'the' 11 playing Everton behind closed doors at Melwood.

Actually Greave that may well be the starting lineup.  Unless KK wants to split the strengths by half again, that will probably be it right there.  I sure hope that's it at least.

THis game and the Valencia game need to be our starters preparing for the season, so I imagine that's what we'll have.

Tho I could see Insua on the left and Flanno on the right or something of that sort.

You could put your house on it.

And I think Greavsie has the team pretty close to what Kenny will play - I expected that sort of line up for Galatasary and Valencia, with the line up who played Galatasary playing in this game.

from the offal:

Kenny Dalglish and his team have arrived in Norway for Monday's clash with Valerenga - and LFC TV Online subscribers can watch footage of them boarding the plane and entering their hotel now.

The boss has brought a strong squad to Oslo, including new signings Charlie Adam, Jordan Henderson and Stewart Downing.

Fit again Glen Johnson, Daniel Agger and Pepe Reina are also in contention for the friendly

as long as it's better than the tripe we served up in the last 3 games ill be happy.
good news that some of the regulars are back training and available so we have to see something that resembles our team for the season.
we are bound to win this one,4.0 to the reds!!

:buttrock    I'm there.

It's actually nice living in the states because they air about 90% of the Liverpool games.

Just hope we don't concede 3 or more goals. If it ends 0-0 I'll be content

I just hope we field a strong team for 60 odd minutes.  What time is kick off anyways?

Not totally sure whose fit an all that but id like to see something like...

                        Reina
Kelly     Carragher  Agger   Johnson

                 Adam   Hendo/Lucas

Kuyt                   Meiriles         Downing

                         Carroll
