Adam with a nice effort from outside the box, hammered it with his left foot.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

Spearing's diminutive size is shadowing his play at the moment

Missing Lucas if you ask me

I think Adam is doing pretty well to be honest.  Has had some great tackles and is moving the ball pretty well.  Has had some really great long passes as well.  Spearing is the weak link in the midfield.  I think Lucas could fill in better, tho obviously Gerrard would fill in even better than that.

I was actually expecting Aqua to start over Spearing, this just makes me think Aqua won't be with us next season.  Lucas would definitely help what we have at the moment tho.

We really need a CB and a LB, but I'd say we need more of a CB at this point.  I'm actually missing Skrtel right now which isn't something I'm used to feeling.

The left back position becomes more critical with Downing operating left side. Hes much more offensive than a lad like Maxi and that exposes the left back even more so we can ill afford any weakness there.

I think his movement has been top class, his final pass has been a let down a lot but he is getting into great spaces.

Not sure why we've taken off Adam.  I think he was our best player so far in the 2nd half.  Spearing's definitely picked it up, tho we probably should have taken off Hendo as he's gone missing for much of the half.

Johnson clearly needed a rest.

Bit harsh mate.  Did he turn 18 yet?

Flanno on for Robinson, Kelly for Johnson, Shelvey for Adam.

We seem to be very limited or one dimensional going forward; always looking to throw a high ball into the box for Carroll. We need to mix it up a bit more, and I hope that's not going to be a prominent feature of our play. I'll say that we do have loads of width and some very good options on the left due to how many left footers we have now. Was always a problem in the past, now we're swamped with left footers, so that's a positive.

Is this a new ultra light fifa ball or something? How many times have we seen an over hit cross/pass/knock-on?

Harsh but true. He's not good enough for the first team yet.

Losing against Hull and Galatasaray was just disappointing knowing the squad we had and how strong the opposition was. Losing against a Norwegian team with a starting line-up of half of our first team players and the others being our most promising youngsters is a bit worrying.
