Lallana usually gets close on team selection but I think I would start Shaq, presuming he is available, instead of Keita.

With Trent, Gomez, Milner (suspended), Ox and Brewster not available, I think Klopp will line-up like this. Fabinho has played a big chunk of his career at RB and has been Brazil’s first choice RB this season, so he seems the natural choice to play there. Klopp seems to favour Lovren over Matip so I think he’ll come back in presuming he’s fully fit. I don’t think Shaqiri has been that effective recently so I can see Klopp persisting with Keita and trying to get him adapted and productive.

                                Alisson

Fabinho          Lovren          van Dijk          Robertson

                 Henderson          Wijnaldum

              Mane          Firmino          Keita

                                  Salah

Subs: Origi, Sturridge, Shaqiri, Lallana, Moreno, Matip, Mignolet

I imagine we’ll try to put this one to bed early on to ease the nerves. I really hope it isn’t another close call like palace...

I predict 4-1; Mane x2, Salah, Bobby, Vardy

We have to dispose of this lot and restore the 7 point gap between us and City. Don't care if its 1 or 10 nil just as long as we finish with 3 points.

C'mon the pool!!!!  :buttrock

Looks good  :)

But

Not convinced that Keita for a game of this importance is up to speed yet.

How about

.................................Alisson

Fabhinho             Lovren                  Virgil           Robertson

.                           Hendo         Wijnaldum

.    Salah                      Shaqiri                       Mane

.                                Firmino

From my memory, Shaqiri has only played 45 mins as the 10, against Southampton. Even though we we're winning, Klopp took him off at half time as we were too open. Since then it's been Firmino in the number 10 role as he's defensively better. Apart from the work ethic, he just gets it. Covers his team mates better and blocks passing lanes. I quite like Shaqiri coming off the right as he has the ball on his left foot and the whole width of the pitch to pass into.

I feel the boys will be up for this and win big, its our time! We need to send a message to the rest of the league and the result will be some teams capitulating before they even play us, like they used to to ManUre, Chelsea and even City last year. We have never been that team in the premiership era but I think we will be that team as the season moves on. Tonight is the best night to put down a marker and I think this will not be lost on Klopp.

Hendo at RB is a shock to say the least (if that is indeed where he plays).

In terms of the midfield there certainly seems to be attacking intent with both Keita and Shaqiri more than capable of chipping in with a goal.

It will be interesting to see how this line-up gels.

Super weird and experimental line-up, not what I thought I'd see in such an important match. If Fabinho wasn't fit enough to start then we should have just went with Camacho IMO.

Regardless, couldn't care less who plays where as long as we win. Come on!!

Worried about the conditions with Vardys pace uptop... it's gonna be a quick pitch, hope we stay switched on for any threat.

Ali gets out of jail there. He screwed up the last time we play Leicester and conceded his 1st goal...now he nearly repeated his mistake again. Case of lesson not learnt

Should be a red for Meguiar as he was the last man when hacking Mane down

Too far away from the goal for it to be a red

And that’s poor defending - poor line and not great from Robbo giving the free kick away
