Stevie needs to drop back and let Yossi go up with Torres. We seem to have trouble breaking through their midfield tonight, it's very organised.

Yeah look at that shiner. In these situations it would be good to have another option in the form of an established striker but we will just have to hope Rafa works a 2nd half miracle.

Alonso was behind almost every attack and goal Liverpool scored. He was the best creative midfielder I have ever seen at Liverpool. And I have seen many.

All our games, we were completely dominant in midfield and dictated the pace of the game.

This year we can barely hold on to the ball in midfield let alone create some scoring opportunities.

Liverpool made Tottenham look like Barcelona last week. Today Villa looks like Juventus.

Rafa needs to sort out the set up as if we keep on like this I can see Villa getting a 2nd goal. He needs to swap Gerrard for Lucas. Lucas is rubbish in the holding role but he is better going forward. :censored:

Take Lucas off, put Riera on the right, pull Gerrard back to the midfield, move Benayoun behind Torres, and we will win the fecking game.
