Well, we got what we came for, a hopeful long ball and a brilliant moment by one of our attackers (in this case Mane). Tactics seem to be working thus far

1-1. Tight game. I never thought one goal was enough anyway, I always felt beforehand we would need at least two goals to go through.

My only gripe is we have gave the ball away far too often with sloppy passing, Firmino, Matip, and Fabinho all guilty.

Milner is doing ***** all, get him off and get Lallana on. I think we'll have to score at least another goal to go through.

Bayern were getting the upper hand there near the end of the half, we needed the half time to settle our nerves. Don't know why the hell we started panicking for. Yes, it was a poor goal to concede but we still have a positive result. The way things are going though, I can see Bayern score again. IMO we'll need at least one more to go through.

HT 1:1 ...Personally i dont like the way we are playing but as it stands right now we are through..

I can understand the defensive plan however as soon as we gain possession we are either losing it quickly or hoofing the long ball..Hope we are able to score another one.
