Whilst you make a good point about the players costing more money if they have a good world cup it surely can't rise that much. Rafa knows what he is doing. If someone has a bad world cup he won't sign them. Simple as that

Why not?

World Class players, technically doesn't mean winning you the title. buying good players with high team spirit and team bonding buys you a title.

Valencia during Rafa's reign never had world class players, but they won the title twice in 3 years.

Any good player who can fit in the team is an improvment.

I maintain that we've agreed fees with the clubs and are just waiting to get the players to agree personal terms/pass medicals. (If they're at the World Cup, they won't be able to do this until afterwards, will they!?!)

Patience is a virtue, and Rafa's methods of signing players is better than any manager I can think of.

I suspect that we have a few deals wrapped up we are just waiting for Parry to return and then we will comfirm everything.

Im hoping we can wrap up Pennant and Bellamy for around 10 mil, then with Cisse leaving along with Mori we should at least get the money back and Rafa can consentrate on getting Kuyt with most of his transfer budget because the money he will have spent on those 2 will have been made by the sales of Mori and Djib

I don't think Bellamy would walk out on blackburn.  Yeah he has a stipulation in his contract but that doesnt mean he would use it now.  he turned down celtic to join a small club like blackburn.  the guy admires mark hughes in a big way!

Blackburn are in europe next season and are showing progress.  Bellamy will stay for least another season.
