Does he post on here, perhaps he should and then when he puts his opinion up people can respond in a similar way.

Think what he means mick , is that gerrard obviously told Lawro this in confidence and now he's spurted it out in the press. Don't be so defensive mate , not everyone is having a go at you.  :;):

Ah, made a bit of a c0ck of meself there, sorry guys

Not the first or last time obviously.

You know Leon, I heard the whispers as well from opposition fans. I reckon though, that that is about the worst thing you could possibly say about anyone, another human being. Is that a deffo, an absolute cast-iron certainty, because even if he had never kickjed a ball for the club, he wouldn 't deserve that if it isn't true.

You know what, I hope it IS true, because then it makes it kind of OK. If it's not, what are we all for having such things on our forum?

I remember the chant that is all, not accusing anyone of anything.

I have removed - sorry for any offence.

keane may leave... very possible, hope not tho, I hope he comes good.

gudjohnsen is certainly not a legend, quite good, but not for me tho. Chelski scum, he was all over the TV when we played them in the champ leagues liking blue :censored:.

Theres many other footballing reasons why he isnt the man for the job aswell, but i canny be bothered.

Please don't finish with period again, its an ridiculous American phrase, and if you do feel the need, there's no reason to explain which use of the word you are using!  :D

THIS POST ABOUT LEONS LAST ONE, SORRY MEANT TO QUOTE IT BUT FECKED IT UP.

Mate I'm not pulling you up, it's not the first time I've heard such things. It's just that much less gets absolutely pulled to pieces on here, and this is the sort of thing which really should get examined. I'm no fan of Lawro as a pundit, but he was bloody good centre half for the club and if the snidey whispers aren't correct, it's terrible how he's been allowed to be painted over the years by our own fans.

Whichever way you look at it, we need someone who can score goals on a regular basis.

Fair comment, amendments made.

For the record, he is an awful pundit but wwas a great player in my opinion.

I can only think that we desperately lack a big striker. Not the Crouch type with fancy feet and no header, but the Adebayor, Drogba, Berbatov, Carew type that our closest rivals do have.

I have always thought Santa Cruz, Dean Ashton, Miroslav Klose or (Dare I say it) Emile Heskey are the perfect type of striker for Torres to play off of. They can all score goals too (some more than others) but also have that impact of power, aerial threat and strength that you don't get from Robbie Keane.

Again, I'm not knocking Keane and actually do not expect him to be sold - but if we are going to sell him, surely it would be a good opportunity to sign someone who stands out amongst our smaller, slower strikers.

There's not a huge difference between Kuyt and Keane... and if we need pace up front alongside Torres then Babel has it.

Having an Aerial threat though could get the best out of Riera, Dossena and Babel from an attacking point of view, as all possess excellent crosses on occasions and deserve a better target than little Keane.
