Yes there was a meeting of the censorship committee the other day. It was held in one of the dockside bars in Liverpool (so I'm told). All the usual faces were there, Leon, Ciggs, Judgie, Lando etc. bad Bob flew in from Canada (all on the exes of course), St MIck bobbed down the motorway from Middlesboro, Red 37 took a break from his university lecturing circuit and various other members made their first appearance. I couldn't make it, which was just as well as I wasn't actually invited.
The meeting took all day, and was split up with Nannie doing the cheffing, serving up "Panne of Scouse en croute" which was a funny thing by all accounts, but tasty nontheless. The regulation pan of scouse had a lump of french bread with melted sainsbury's pre grated cheddar on top, prompting whispers that Nanny had "changed since she moved to Charlton".
Anyway, top of the agenda were swearwords. "Shitty" was universally approved, although a side motion that c.untface and c.untfeatures (proposed by Ciggy and seconded by Nan) was narrowly voted down. Even a last minute amendment proposing that "c.untyb0ll0cks" and "c.untychops" (jointly proposed by Lando and Judge) was narrowly defeated on this occasion.
The chair (Bob) hasd the casting vote, and vetoed the proposal on the grounds that he knew both of the amended phrases would be used against me continuously, and would be to the detriment of the forum. A good day was had by all though, although some felt the expense was hard to justify when the only change to the forum rules was that "shitty" is now permitted.
