Thats good and all but don't get your hopes up too much, because if we play a bad game in the future you might say that we aren't good,etc...

Like three weeks ago or so everyone said that our fate was to finish 4th place because we lost to Bolton. Now we play good and we are thinking about that 2nd place.

i am an optimist, i don't expect us to win much this year, but i think it's going to be an exciting season with some good results

I'm an optimist as well. However weeks ago some were doubting us. Look how things have changed in those few weeks.

I think, we'll finish above the mancs anyway, possibly chelsea, as they have had a lot of change too. possibly second. the loss to bolton was only down to alonso and garcia starting thier debuts and not bedding in properly.

Tjis will be the start of a run, but by no means will it equal second place. I'm an optimist but i believe first place will be locked up Arsenal, and 2nd by Chelsea.  Tho, that leaves a spot for Liverpool to slip into 3rd, which would be an absolutely tremendous finish.

We are heading in the right direction,
will it be fast enough for some ...doubtful
and will patience grow thin when the stumbles occur... probably
But its a definate that fair weather fans will be leaping on the  bandwagon in droves

Is 3rd really a big improvement on 4th? Last season you lambasted Houllier for 4th place, and now youd settle for 3rd even with new improvements made to the team? Now you cant say -yes-but-they-need-time- to-settle-in....because chelsea also have a new manager and made changes too. :D where is your self belief?
