They have made liverpool fc into a laughing stock over a few quid extra profit. Now instead of having everything paid for and no debt, we are going to be financed by debt with the spectre of delays to the new ground and even a groundshare proposal.

This Gillette fella has been bankrupt twice and we are considering offers from him because?......................

If he takes over and does that groundshare I will never step foot inside the new stadium and I wont buy any LFC products atall he can feck right off and stick his groundshare up his hole.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Listen, lads and lasses , absolutely none of this is under our control . It's no use speculating what's going to happen. At the end of the day it's moores decision who he sells his shares too and i for one ain't gonna start slagging him off if he feels what he is doing is right for our club. As far as i'm concerned he has always had the clubs interests at heart. So what has changed now that dic have spat there collective dummies out and pulled the plug on the deal.

I like most of you wanted the dic deal to go through, but we don't know the in's and outs of the proposed deals on offer.
Level heads are needed at this moment in time not accusations of selling out for more money. We just don't know until the board make a statement on the matter.

So in the words of the illustrious Cpl Jones . DON'T PANIC.
UP THE PURPS !!!

News Northwest have just reported on it and Sheik Mohameed is appartenly "a very angry man" at the way he has been treated by LFC.

Thing I don't understand is that the Gillet deal is suppose to be completed in the next few days, if that is so why did the DIC proposal take so long to sort? ???

Answer please Mr Moores and Mr Parry!!

BBC sports editor Mihir Bose told BBC Radio Five Live that he believed Sheikh Mohammed was angry with Liverpool's courting of tycoon Gillett who is expected to make a revised takeover bid.

Bose said: "Mohammed is a very angry man and that is why he has pulled out. He was given assurances by Liverpool that they would go with them but the talk of other offers has unsettled him and he has pulled out.

"DIC saw this as business enterprise but Gillett has told Liverpool that they are a sports franchise and they know how to run sports operations.

"With Gillett it won't be like an Roman Abramovich deep pockets scenario."

Whatever, they messed DIC around after giving there word and why because as Ciggy ses for a bloke who has been BANCRUPT TWICE, how the fu*k can he be the best for LFCs future when he hasnt got much of a future left.
And as for a statement there hardly going to come out and admit to feckin up cus of a few extra quid are they, same as the yank he`ll promise a lot and deliver feck all, he`s hardly going to have a ten year plan is he, the c.unt proberly already wears a nappy.

this does not auger well....sod gillett, hes an opportunist, what does he give a toss about liverpool fc, hes part owned the maimi dolphins, hardly a successful NFL franchise...hes been bankrupt twice and i dont recall the montreal canadiens being too successful in the last number of years .....(i could be wrong there coz i know sweet FA about ice hockey.....I think the board have prostituted themselves and the same as the takeover talks last year couldnt make up who to sell to.....typically no official comment from the club, I can think we can kiss the Dubai deal goodbye....and if liverpool are owned by a glorified malcolm glassier i for one will be sickened.....

What sort of statment is that, That must of taken a long time to think up.
From Shankly to Brendan we follow our team, Rome to Istanbul we've all lived the dream. Our journey is long, our goal stays the same, to keep for our children the famous red name.

So what your saying is ,you personally know the state of gillettes finances. Well i bow down to your superior business sense. None of us know what this fella has regarding money, so what he's been bankrupt twice so have alot of successful business men ,that means nothing. All that i'm sayin is lets see what's being offered first before jumping in and slagging moores off. Dic have taken 2 months to make a serious offer , gillette has taken 2 days.

Imo this guy knows what he wants and he's gonna get it .

Sounds to me the club is lost for words and I am not surprised!

Which club in its right mind would turn down the Sheikh and his endless fortune? Surely it doesnt get much better than that
