while all the focus is on race i was thinking about the black players we currently have in the squad, and those we have had. so i set myself the challenge of trying to come up with the best all black eleven i could... and it wasn't easy. i also had to stick with those who had played enough games to be considered definite first team in their time. i'm sure some of the LFC trainspotters and stattos can come up with better, but this is my proposed team

some of those names give me nightmares. while i like johnson a lot at right back, the rest of the defence is absolute rubbish. the midfield is ok, even though i had to include diao to make up the numbers. as long as he sticks to just covering to back four we might be ok. as long as cisse has one of his better days there might be goals in the attack, especially with telling passes and contributions from thomas and barnsey.

its a pointless game... any one else want to have a go?

As much as I detest Diouf, he was a talented player so I would put him somewhere in the lineup.
