Tell me about it. People over-complicate this game sometimes with settling for this, settling for that, under these conditions, being away, being at home.

I would love for Rafa to come out and not give one of his, "we are thinking about one game at a time" and tell the media, "yeah - we are going to win all three of them".

So you'd prefer to lose in the first leg? Explain why. Having their fans think they are going to win is just a daft reason. I'd prefer to win there 2-0. Or even draw 2-2. Two away goals.

I'd go for:

CL 1st leg: win
League: lose
CL 2nd: draw[/quote]
I would prefer them to win in the first leg because i feel that we as a club are better as the underdogs in the Champions League anyway. Take Barcalona and Chelsea for example. Losing at the Emirates will be nothing compared to the :censored: we would get if we lost to them at Anfield.

Bit like if you´re being chased by 20 lads you run faster?

What a load of tosh, if we win the first leg we wont have to play under the same pressure in the second leg.

Why needlessly create pressure?

Rafa:-  "Ok lads, lets lose the first leg just so we can sh!t ourselves in the second."
Gerrard:- "Yeah, and if we blow it the Kop will blame rotation and the press will call for your head. Good thinking Rafa".

Champions League @ The Emirates 2nd April(lose)

League game @ The Emirates 5th April(draw)

Champions League @ Anfield 8th April (win)

ill take a loss in the CL game away sl long as we come back to anfield and win. then a point at the emirates in the league will be a good point
The devil on the badge represents the equality of manchester united with satan and his many demoish minions downstairs. just like the many twisted devil worshipers accross the world it means you have to posess the same sick minded mentality to follow that pathetic excuse for a football team.

02/04/08 Champions League vs Arsenal AWAY
05/04/08 Premiership vs Arsenal AWAY
08/04/08 Champions League vs Arsenal HOME

Might be because we're away for the first two games and home for the third, duh

To be honest though mate, our home form overall this season has been.....well dodgy to say the least, so we've probably got a better chance of winning away. Although our home form is picking up of late so I don't see the game at Anfield being a problem either.

three wins on the spin against the cockney :censored:. Nothing else will do.
1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

I'm confident we can bag 3 points at Arsenal and progress to the semis and all that on the back of successive wins over the mancs and the bluenoses.

Reg, I think you are missing the point here, the win, draw and loss are set in stone, you have to decide which results go with which matches, it's not rocket science!!  :rasp  :p

Also of course it will be much harder to win at the emirates becuase irrespective of whether we play better or worse there, Arsenal certainly do!

Personally I think it will be draw, loose then win

I've never had a problem with Benitez and as Liverpool go your the lesser of the evils out there.

Enjoy the game and learn from it :D
