i think its the right time to sell torres, especially if its 50 million

on current form of the past seasons hes worth no more than darren bent, a good goalscorer but his lightening pace than made him a world beater has gone

much like owen, amazing with the pace, but without it to limited on the ball

What I can't reconcile is all the reports of him not getting on with the team and whether that is particularly unusual in a football team with a 'star' of that calibre, or a minor attempt at spin/smear.

I want to believe that he's a young guy who has had some bad advice (Owen anyone) and the people who are advising him are sensing that his 'out' in the summer, which was Liverpool are going nowhere fast, is fast disappearing. All the signs are towards a recovery and to leave it to the summer and then say that the club offers no chance to him would be extremely questionable, so they've gotta bite the bullet and rock the boat now. If he doesn't go now, they've still put the uncertainty out there now and can refer back to it in the summer if needed. Somewhat conspiratorial I know, but not beyond the realms of belief.

I still genuinely hopes that he sees the light here and gets several months of Kenny under his belt. I would be amazed if he didn't see the world differently at that point.

that boy is worth no more than 12 million, hes had one half good season in the top flight so far

The problem we have is everybody will know we have £50 m or whatever and so everyones price will rise !
