Stupid comment. You don't turn bad overnight. He was excellent at Spurs for 2 seasons in a row prior to the transfer. He clearly didn't cope well with a rotation system. I (and many others) believe that if we had persisted with him we would of got the best out of him. Regardless, he is better than Kuyt, Ngog and Babel, so you point is?

I think you need to work on your responses. I suggest the 5 second rule.

Wow!  no need for the aggresive response, im just sharing opinions.
Your probably right about Crouch but Bellamy has always been a trouble maker and will continue to be.

he couldn't even resist the golf club swing celebration after scoring against Barca.  Rafa was right to get rid of someone like that.

Being Irish, ive always been a fan of Robbie Keane but his career is going down the toilet.
He did sh.ite for us, then Spurs didn't even want him and then he ended up at Celtic for awhile.  (while Kuyt is preparing for a WC Final)

You definitely haven't been reading this forum for long if you think my response was aggressive!!

I don't see your point about Kuyt. Are you suggesting if Ireland weren't robbed that Keane wouldn't be involved?

He would of being involved.  Robbie Keane used to a very good player but i just don't think he is any use anymore.

Liverpool actually seemed to kill his career.  Not sure whether he can ever rediscover his old form again but Kuyt is not looking half bad at the WC and at the moment id take him over Keane.

Anyway the strikers you mention all left for various valid reasons

Well, considering that the final is on Monday, I'd like to think so. Anyway, going by the state of France and England in this world cup, I'd have backed us to get out of the group stages and posibly beyond the last 16 at a stretch. Whenever we're there we don't do too bad for a tiny little island that has roughly just over half the population of a city like London in total, and that's for the whole island. The competition as a whole would have benifited from us being there instead of that shambles of a team known as France. I've no hard feelings towards them, it's just that they are officially sh*te!

I wouldn't laugh. Normally Chelsea would be throwing double that at us whenever Benitez was here. 30 million is a lot of money to managers like Hodgson and of course our leeches. Something is up if they are throwing less money at us than what's expected.

What the f*ck are you talking about? Who's moaning? France are sh*te, so were England in that world cup. I'm doing nothing but stating a fact, and if anyone is sounding bitter, it's you!

:censored: that. It's Broughton and Cecile calling the shots now, not the owners. They know he can get easily 60 - 80Mil.... for him so are not going to settle for 30. And anyway even if they got 30 how much would go to Roy? Nothing... for him to probably get 20 they would need to get 60.
