Lets face it you have the greatest problems... we didn't teach u lot a lesson today, but hey there's always next time: our players play internationals, CL games,  league and now many other big games cos of our success.. so hope Mick gets you a win in the next 10 games or so.. otherwise you will be in deep .. sh.t :D

I did notice you won.

The only thing that seperated the teams in the first half was a world class free kick.

Keep the faith u must have been watching another game mate! The only fact in your post is that Welsh did not deserve to get sent off!! The rest is utter cr-p mate no offence!
We had more posession more chances! It was a pretty low key performance from Liverpool today but we done the job!! On another day with the same chances Sunderland could have been done 4nil!! I cant remember our keeper making a save.
Your team deserved to loose today! But best of luck for the season though and i too hope you stay up but realisticly i dont think this will happen!!

When you watched the shower of sh!te we put out last week against Charlton to the sheer improvement of this week then you do have reason to be optimistic. I feel we should have gotten at least a point. Clearly I am out numbered here so the sensible thing would be for me to feck off. But I'm not going to, yet. Gonna stick around, see what the craic is.

HA'WAY THE FUC£ING LADS!

I have respect for the way your team tried to play today with a lot of injuries!!
Fair play to them, but if u left with a point it would not have been a fair result!
I see that you are happy that Sunderland hve improved on last weeks performance and you have a right to be!! I still dont think you'll stay up though unfortunately!

We are without:

Our first choice keeper
First choice RB
First choice LB
Our LM was playing at LB
We were without our two first choice strikers.

And I do think we can - and will - stay up!!

How would you know what "sh!t" was by our standards when you see us once or maybe twice a season?

We played better today at times than we did last season when we won the second tier.

Au Contraire, I believe if the ref hadn't been such a homer, then we would have had a peno. If Carra hadn't been in the right place and if Brown stuck his leg out then there's three goals we could have had.

Garcia is still a cheat. I will put money on him getting conveniently injured just before the game at the SoL; but maybe it will be a dislocated hair strand. Spanish P**f

Whats the matter you jealous of our illustrious spaniards? Welsh was a little sh*t and deserved to get sent off dirty b@stard
same as the bitter no class just boot what moves :glare:

Hark at her.

That was Welsh's first card in his Sunderland career, which tells you something about him when he is approaching 30 games with us. Personally, I don't mind that Liverpool is becoming La Liga United, but the more spaniards you have, the more divers you will have.

FACT.

I have alot of problems with comments like that, the rest of your comments were maybe understandable but this is way out of line and extremly sterotypical. It jus highlights your extreme stupidity and ignorances

Not in my opinion, all you had to do was touch Garcia's shoulder and he would be on the floor rolling around, and it was the same last season. Baros is bad aswell. And I thought Pires dived a lot!

Still, c'est la vie. Lets see if he can cope with the cauldron that will be the SoL.

Yeah, but by the time you come we will be top....hang on, got to take me pills and wake up  :sleep

And I generally feel that Continental players are ruining the physical game that England has been used to. 2 or 3 years ago, Welsh wouldn't have gotten a yellow let alone a red.

Shame, but hope it will be rescinded.

That was cos the scum didn't appeal, the ref didn't report it. Mick will/should appeal.

Hey faithy,

I am being very objective here. Regarding your point about Garcia faking it, I really, really beg to differ. Welsh is a bigger man than Garcia, looking upon the impact when he crashed into Garcia, and the fact that Garcia was already losing his balance anyway after tussling with another Sun defender, it's harsh to say that he took a dive. He definitely did not make a meal out of it either. He just got up and got into position, waiting for play to start again. But who knows, the linesman thought differently. If there's anyone you can blame, its the linesman, not Garcia.

And also,I do feel that somehow Welsh got himself sent off. If you have any chance to look at replays, immediately after he crashed into Garcia, look at his body language and expression. Observe how smug he looked, and how he stared at the fallen body of Garcia with a hostile expression. That's probably what led the linesman to think that Welsh knocked Garcia off purposely, and with malice.

That said, I do symphatize with you that Welsh still did not do enough to get sent off. And the card will probably be retracted.

On the other side, to say that your side did not deserve to lose is...hmmm.... a bit too hard to accept. You might say if only Brown stuck his leg out, if only carra wasn't there etc. Well, we can also say if only the post wasn't in the way of gerrad's early cross into the box. if only cisse stuck a 'good' leg out (twice) etc etc. if nando and zenden sent their headers on target after being left unmarked. So you see, you really can't judge how a game would have been with examples like these. And oh, if only Gerrard played the whole game, then probably he would have made sure of a good result and save us all from this debate.

Nevertheless, I implore fellow Liverpool members to stop bringing up "WE ARE THE EURO CHAMPIONS -- NAY NAY NEE BOO BOO" every now and then. That's in the past..let's move on to greater things. If you want to have a good discussion with someone, base your discussion on what you are discussing. Dont conveniently drag out the fact that we're Euro champions.

Lot of fans in this forum are getting a bit swollen headed. Be modest, be nice. That's what Liverpool fans are always about. Faith has come here with no ill intentions except for letting out some of his frustration at getting a man sent off for nothing. We should understand that. We shouldn't jump on him, nor should we (which some of you obviously do) look down on him just bcos "he's sunderland, I'm euro champion".
Euro Champ won't count for nothing if we cant get good results every week. Show your opponent the same respect they have always show pool supporters. Dont let success get to your heads, otherwise how different will we be from manure?

Hoo man, get off the fence, you'll get splinters  :;):

I haven't had a chance to see any replays yet, but if Welsh did indeed look like he meant it then I will say so on here. But Welsh bigger than Garcia?  :O  Welsh is tiny man, hes like a little dwarf.

Still, nice to see a couple of decent, diplomatic posters on here, I knew there would be a few about.
