I didn't see the game my Sunderland friend, but if you did turn up with a team of kids and you had a man sent off, 1-0 does you some credit it has to be said. I think you probably know it's going to be a difficult season and results away at Anfield and Old trafford aren't going to form the direction of it.
TBH I thought your result last week was a little worrying, you will need to pick points up at the SOL against the likes of Charlton. I think last season WBA set the benchmark for the promoted teams. It's reasonable to assume two from three will go down, you just need to finish above one existing club. Portsmouth could be your kiddies. You need a goalscorer though, might I suggest a certain Robert Earnshaw?(It's a bit of an in-joke of mine).

Get It
bigmick wrote:Faithman, the Earnshaw suggestion is not really a-take. If you've still got that big hard fella up-front (Kyle I think?), then these two would get you goals. I really respect Mccarthy as a manager. Dead nice fella too. Used to live over in Bromley where my last boozer was. True Gent.
I hope you do stay up aswell because you're a bigger club with a bigger fan base than many in the lower reaches of the Prem. Good luck mate and follow through thick and thin.

I supported you against Meelan and will support you on Friday, but as "Champions of Europe", you should be beating a "team full of kids" more than 1-0.
End of.
Lets see you fail to take your chances against Chelsea, Man Utd and Arsenal.
