What centre backs are out there who we could have replaced him with though?

Wes Brown?

I'm 50 -50 on Big Sami at the moment. He was lousy against Blackburn, but then he'll have a blinder the next game. He hardly makes as many catastrophic errors as Igor at centre back does he?

Back to Henchoz though, it does appear he has played his last game for us, barring more injuries.

Talkin to a mate of mine this mornin who is a rangers fan and rumours are rife that Liverpool will be coming in for boumsong, he having a blinder in the SPL what a waste we should have got him why did houllier want him then loose interest?

Boumsong wanted more money so he went to Rangers.

True.

Boumsong claimed recently that moving to Rangers was a stepping stone to a big club in England, yet he could have had that last year if he had accepted Houllier's offer to join Liverpool.

I remember Houllier losing the rag over it as apparently Boumsong had given him his word to join us.
