I think we could play him central mid, striker, or 'in the hole'. Generally an attacking player though.

Liverpool have made a £4.5m bid for Real Sociedad's tenacious midfielder Mikel Arteta. Arteta , 24 , spent half the season on loan at merseyside rivals Everton, who were looking to make the deal permanent but the deal collapsed due to a failure to agree personal terms. The player himself is delighted at the prospect of being able to make the switch, but with Real Sociedad reportedly wanting £6m for the highly rated Spaniard, Liverpool will have to make an improved offer to secure his signature.

Yea forget Arteta, espeically at that kind of money. Only eight goals in two seasons at Rangers (49 games) and one this season for R.Sociedad, and as far as i am aware none for Everton (pls correct me if i am wrong), ok he is not a striker, but to be honest there are many that play his position that are better ten fold.....We must stay well clear IMO!!!!!

feck that right off 6 million for what , he was cr@p at rangers and cr@p at the bitters, we dont want him xabi's mate or not.

he had quite a few good games for the bitters actually, but was average for Rangers.

Definitley don't want him and severely doubt Rafa would show any interest at all, he'd be of no use to us.

maybe we should all turn up at his wedding and when they say "if anyone present knows of any lawful reason why they shouldn't marry..."

we all shout out "Yeah, he should be sorting Stevie's contract!"

Then they cancel the wedding, fly back to liverpool, stevie signs for life and we all live happily ever after

He Guys most of the playes we are buying will not be able to play in the champions league unless we start agreing terms.Just think we need to register our players about 4weeks before everyone else's because we start in 1st round.OwL@sses

Your lack of knowledge is shocking. We can register players for every round providing they aren't cup tied. Theres no rush.

I'm sure our current squad will be able to see us through the first 2 stages of qualifying, alonso and garcia didn't register untill we had played grazer last year.

inter milan are looking to off load dutch winger andy van der meyde,he is 26,i aint seen much of him,anyone know if this guy could be a possible transfer and is he any good.
