I've got a mate who's a Hammer's fan, and he says that Elliot Ward is a lot better than Anton. Wouldn't mind either personally. But if we were playing CM, I think I'd make him a "hot prospect".

UEFA Champions League holders Liverpool have renewed their interest in Helsingborgs star Andreas Granqvist.

The young central defender caught the attention of Liverpool and a number of Dutch clubs last year, but The Reds sent their scout to watch the Sweden Under-21 international in Helsingborgs's 2-0 win against Djurgardens on Monday.

PSV Eindhoven have long been tipped to table a bid for Granqvist, but Rafa Benitez might plan to hijack their bid.
