Rosicky - Comments on official website

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby maximus » Wed Jun 30, 2004 11:25 am

Interesting comments from Thomas Rosicky on the official website, with regards to playing at LFC and in particular Milan Baros

"I like to play with him very much, he is a perfect team-mate," claimed Rosicky who has been tipped to leave German side Borussia Dortmund this summer. "I am sure we would combine well together on the pitch if we play for the same club in the future."

Has anyone told him that Emile Donkey...............I mean Heskey, was in front of him in the pecking order last season. Lets hope that changes this season, and Baros gets the run he surely deserves in the side.

Any more thoughts on this?

ano just seen it then, we could really do wiv a player like him, didnt actually say he wanted to play for Liverpool he just said he would like to play with Baros week in week out. But hope he comes to us anyhow :D
He comes from Spain and he doesn't speak good English,
But we don't care cos he'll turn us into winners,
The European Cup will be ours before he's finished,
Raaaaafaa Benitez!

I don't think Rosicky will come to Liverpool and I do not hope so either. He is not the kind of player we need. Too slow and lazy.

I only think there are better players out there that's all. Rosicky is better than Murphy and Diao. So he will improve the squad..

Rosicky looked dangerous when we played Dortmund in late 2001. I remember him hitting the post with a fine strike.

You say Owen's ****** and now you say Rosicky is aswell?

Are you blind or just truely clueless?

He's got plenty of pace and if you watched the Netherlands and Czech's match you'd see he could also tackle and make play from deep positions aswell as high up the field.

You are simply talking rubbish their lad.

His standards of good players and that of yours are different. Certainly not blind and clueless. Like how you have rated Owen top 5 in the world!

Rosicky is good enough for lfc, but certainly there are others much better than him. He is not as dynamic in the centre as many others. Maybe being over-shadowed by Nedved could have limit his playing capabilities.

IMO He is exactly the type of player we need alongside Gerrard and is quick, works hard and is a great dribbler.

That volley he hit after 2 mins tonight showed how good his techinique is and when nedved went off he was the best player on the pitch.

He set up that stick koller with a great chance and still can't believe he missed.
Smith to Shankly:My thigh is a bit sore, but I think I could play.
Shankly to Fagan:Tell him,Joe.He has got no chance of playing.
Smith to Fagan:Tell him to sod off.It is not his leg,it's mine.
Shankly to Smith:Oh no son.You are wrong, son. It is not your leg.
It is Liverpool Football Club's leg.
