momo should make a return and he should quite easily be able to get stuck into a physical midfield game, allowing alonso to pass mroe to the wings, where id have gonzales and stevie.

We go in guns balzing and get a nic early goal and should be another good result for us id hope.

Kuyt and Gonzalez aren't upto it.

ok, an explanation please? why u dont think 2 liverpool players arent up to it when it comes to a game against reading? i can understand gonzales maybe, he might get bullied off the ball but kuyt?

I just don't think Kuyt is half as good as the people on this site would have you believe. Yes he'll get a couple more goals next sesaon but I just don't think he's good enough. He'll never hit the 20 mark in the league and he'll never be a consistent goal threat through out ninety minutes. For me a player who doesn't offer those things and doesn't offer what Bellamy does isn't good enough.

Bellamy for me is a far better player than Kuyt.

Also I don't like the attitude of asking why they aren't good enough to beat reading. Its not about Reading. Its about winning the league. Simple as that.

This season its about the next 3 points. There is a thread about next season but for now i just want the points on the board and we have to utilise different players for different games, different styles against different teams. and today is reading. I just find it a bit disrepectful to say that someone like Kuyt who a lot of people on this forum admire is just dismissed by you. Kuyt may not be a 20 a season scorer, but isnt everyone always saying that there is more to a striker in modern football than goals? and is bellamy a 20 a season scorer?

I think this game will suit kuyt down to the ground, but i guess we'll soon see who rafa plays eh?

I disagree with you about Gonzales stu , i'm not saying he's a world beater but i think he's not as bad as you make out.

He's not had a good run in the side so far ,due to injuries ,so i think it's mainly a confidence thing, regarding his poor touch and passing, much the same as pennant i suppose. I think he should get one more sesaon hopefully injury free , and lets see if he can beat his man on a regular basis and provide quality crosses into the box, play the simple pass when needed and provide an attacking threat.

Disagree. Think he's poor.

And he is only 22 years old, and this was his first season in England. I think its too early to write him off, but he does need to improve.

I am being harsh, I can see something in him, but his performances this season haven't warrented defending and I can't see him being the answer to our left sided problem. Which is exactly what it is at the minute. A problem. And a big one.

He's similar to Overmars in terms of pace, running style and directness, but he doesn't have Overmars, touch, intelligence, two footedness or ability to finish.

Not for me. I hope am wrong and he produces what I haven't seen in him, but I can't see it.
