Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

The flick and ball control that he does about 26 seconds into the video takes a lot of skill even for senior players.. to be able to do it with three people around him and have the composure to pull it off is immense.

King Kenny will turn this kid into a future star im sure.

Ive had a read about on some Arsenal forums about him and they were going nuts that Wenger came nowere near signing him. One of them even said they should of tried a swap deal for him with Wilshere

He reminds me of a young Robinho ,has all the arrogance that comes with having  a precocious talent  robinho

That said I think Robinho has the best balance I have ever seen in football and his control at speed is phenomenal

Come on  Girl you cant deny the Lad is a genius with the ball ,ok he also happens to be the most obnoxious player to drift into the Premiership ,but that aside his talent in his younger days was breathtaking    :D

I dont know what the fuss is about, lots of running and arms everywhere but he was either pushed off every ball or muffed it. Young lad sure, but still a long way to go. I wonder how Robbie or MO looked at this age?

Reminds me of a combination of both Robinho and Aaron Lennon...

I can't remember as far back as Robbie, but i know Owen was being touted as a star from the age of 14. Did he make his debut against Palace at 17?  I'm pretty sure he had literally just had his birthday and was the youngest player to play in the premier league...until Rooney that is

and here we go again, more 'promising talent' to get excited about. How about sort the friggin issues we have now rather than looking into the future and hoping one of the many reserves develop into a first team player
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road
