All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Jesus - the guy gets asked a question , he answers honestly and then the knives come out - nothing changes I see .

It's not knives, and you should know Rafa by now to know that he likes to stoke the fire, or light a new one. Don't be so naive to think he is completely angelic and never has an ulterior motive

He was asked a question in an interview - he was always very complimentary of kenny and said he is doing a great job and kenny should have the job , he also said he wouldnt touch the Mancs and the BS - there was no agenda it was talking like the Liverpool fan he is - all good and all complinetary .

The only agenda is from a section of fans who leap upon him every time he opens he talks .

There was no fire being light , no stoking of any fires and no hidden motive - its the normal case of people looking for something that isnt there to hit him with a stick .

Just cant see why you came back

Kidding!!!

But with rafa, it happens too often for it to be 'just answering the question'. He knows the question he WANTS to be asked, and why shouldnt he want to coem back, we are an awesome team.

You only have to look at how inter have changed since he left there to see things without the biased... but alas this is no anti or pro Rafa thread, its just askign a question, and its been well ansered, so it can probably be locked

It happens often because its the same interview rehashed and reproduced

Completly agree. I was a Rafa supporter but I'm glad KK is here now and I can't see all the hate because of some complements by a former manager.

honestly Benny the timing of this to be all over is truly awful. He shouldn't say he wants to come back, any club he goes to now will know we're always his first choice. If I support the club that gets Rafa I'd know he wanted to be at Liverpool over whoever. From a professional point of view it's not great and from a Liverpool perspective it isn't either.

I loved the guy, hell I still do, he fought for us tooth and nail and still has our adoration but now it's Kenny's turn
