Liverpool boss Benitez ponders Le Tallec recall
tribalfootball.com - January 7, 2005

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is considering recalling midfielder Anthony Le Tallec from his loan with St Etienne.

The French youngster has struggled for form this season and with Liverpool undergoing a mini-injury crisis, Benitez is weighing up whether it be best for all concerned to have Le Tallec back at Anfield.

No , he's not. He will be a better player, in fact he will better player under RB than under GH.

Bit harsh Lee, the lad was one of many players that GH played out of position and messed with his confidence when Tony played behind the from two or in an attacking role he was good, he is a lot like Garcia and Smicer in that he isn't very effective on the right wing  :;):

From what I watched last season Le tallec was better than Pongolle and look where Sinama has gone under Rafa's reign

La tellac is supposed to be more skillfull than pongolle and look at how pongolle is playing now.

I believe rafa can make la tellac a great player. Should bring him back.

he's still only a young lad - give him another go - see if Rafa can bring the best out of him - as long as this so called bad attitude he was accused of having, has been sorted out - he could be another diamond that just needs polishing round the edges
I always thought out of him and Ping Pong - he looked the likelier to live up to the rave reviews they came to Anfield with
So I was quite suprised when he was sent out on loan - but that was before I read about him not having the right attitude
I think the potential is definitely there - he just needs a good manager to help him progress
The only thing I would say - Rafa doesn't seem to take any messing around or upsetting the applecart - some other managers we've had seem to be almost best mates with the players
Rafa seems the opposite to this - so it may be that Le Tallec has a lot to prove if he upset the Gaffa - there may be no way back ???

I like him but i dont think we can afford the luxury of giving a long run in the side while he finds his form. I dont think he will ever be quite there as a Liverpool player but would be a useful squad player.
