Absolute irony on the free kicks with Aurelio. He's obviously really good at them becasue as soon as we get one everyone backs off, but they have been absolutely sh!te for us in matches so far. Today he hits an absolute peach which beats James all ends up and clips the post, (is it me or did the commentators hardly make anything of that? Brilliant effort it was) and then he scores with a scuffed twelve yarder.

Hopefully now he'll find his confidence and range from dead balls. I've always liked him when he's fit, I thoght he was MOM against Chelsea. FWIW I'd probs give MOm today to Benayoun, but without being too doomy and gloomy it was a hard one to pick as the game was kind of "freestyle". It was a bit like watching a game of sevens at rugby except each time had the full compliment of players on.

I thought they all done just OK but for me Benayoun and Aurelio stood out!
As for Ngog and Babel...Well today showed what a lot of us have thought for a very long time..enough said, both need to go IMO!
Alonso changed the game with his vision..been a class act for us this season only bettered by Gerrard.Torres was just Torres although pretty quiet he done it again.
And Kuyt proved again why he starts before the likes of Ngog Babel etc.Whether it be on the right or upfront, although probably short on what we would want on quality, hes the best option we have until someone better comes in!

GET IN THERE!!!!! Everybody happy now  :;):

Once again, thank goodness for that ignore poster thing. I love that function. Thank God Judge isn't around either, cos he'd be sticking his oar in the fecker no doubt about it  :D

Now now dont start on me!!

I sense a window of opportunity now you've owned up to a drought in the Fanta dept Baz. Normally I'd know better than to go there as I'd disappear under an avalanche of hurled abuse and one liners, but this mornign could be me big chance.

Then again, maybe not  :D .

How many times can anyone be proven wrong and still keep a straight face?

I recommend you listen to Sting's an Englishman in New York; especially the part where it says- 'it takes a man to suffere ignorance and smile'....

??? Ah we meet again. I'm happy to engage if you'll explain about the proven wrong thing (presumeably you mean todays match?). It does happen from time to time (too regualrly for my liking) but elaborate a bit and we'll have a chin wag. None of your basketball "all court press" stuff though, keep it about football and we're game onski.

delighted with the win, but am a little concerned about our level of urgency up until the last 15 minutes or so of games.
i think babbel started well today, aurelio looked comfortable and i think ngogg can turn out to be a good player but as a collective we need to raise our game like we did today just more earlier in the game

On the contrary I was impressed with his movement until that horrible miss after which his head seemed to drop increasingly...

As for N'gog, I suspect that he will come good in the end...
Floyd stepped left and threw the hook that caught Hatton flush under the chin. Finally, the British champ had arrived in that mythical place of which his fans speak: Hatton Wonderland.

His movement?
I take it you must mean off the ball?
or do you mean the bit where he repeatedly rungs at pace into a crowd of our opponents loosing the ball again?
He's cr@p mate..I hate saying it,I wish all our players were great but sadly babel is just not and I doubt ever will be!

The thing i'm made up about is the fighting spirit and the not giving up ,it was tremendous , it was man utd all over . Disclaimer i'm not saying were like man utd , im suggesting that they don'y give in until it's over, How many times have you seen them score last minute winners , anyway i digress " Get in the redmen"

to be fair to him he didnt get much service, and playing up front on ur own aint easy, id really like to see us just try and play with 2 up front whether its kuyt and torres or babbel and torres.
