Owen set for anfield return - From lfc.tv

Michael Owen will return to Liverpool over Christmas ....................






















but only to watch his former team-mates in action! 
The Real Madrid striker has revealed that he will be taking his place in the Anfield stands for the Reds clash against Southampton on December 28.
 
With there being no games in La Liga over the festive period Owen, who scored again in Real's 3-2 win over Racing Santander at the weekend, has been given a week off and will be jetting back to visit his family.
 
"We all get a week off and I'm looking forward to spending Christmas in my house. But I think I am going to the Southampton game on the 28th and I might go to training at Melwood as well to say hello to the lads," he says. 



saw the headline on lfc.tv and nearly flipped, but there was more to the story.  :D

i think its ncie. i heard the asme thing. apprently hes a little homesick and wants to say hi to the boys. lets just hope we give him a good game to watch

But I bet you he will come to Liverpool and talk about how great Real is. "Real this, and Real that". With what is going on with Gerrard, he might be a source of distraction.

Im sure he has spoken to gerrard loads of times since he has left so letting him in isnt going to make any difference, if its gives the players a extra lift before the game then all the better.

In my eyes the guy is a legend and always will be for one reason - the 2001 FA Cup Final. Nuff said!!

OK, he misses his mates. Why can't he invite them to his home over Christmas? Why does he want to go training with them? I'm not impressed.
