Our defence - Swap sami and cara?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Anybody else think that we could get a greater balance to our defence by switching the centre backs?

the reason i say this is firstly finnan has looked slightly suspect in the air on occasions this season and hyypia would provide greater protection to this slight flaw. in return i feel that finnan would provide greater cover for sami when he gets beaten for pace.

i know this is perhaps tinkering a bit too much but could it be worth a go?

Hypia used to play on the right and Carragher on the left until Agger arrived.

Before it did not matter too much as I am sure that both of them were comfortable with either but its best not to change it too much.  But Agger is a natural left footer and seems to like it on the left where he can bend  those great balls in that we saw in his first couple of games.

Should not be too much on an issue anyway.......
