nah blink 182 are fake punks and don't belong on this thread. DK's good though, 4ft fingers are supporting the jello free DK's this month.

f##k that song, the cover of 99 Red Balloons is top notch, or Sticking In My Eye, my fave NOFX songs..

For Dead Kennedys it'd have to be Lets Lynch The Landlord or maybe Kill The Poor.

Still.. White Riot rules all.

NOFX never did 99 red balloons (you must have downloaded the version by either goldfinger or 7 seconds with the wrong filename :D ). sticking in my eye is good though but for satire and taking the pi55 you want please play this song on the radio.

NoFX did do it, as its a live version they did but i cant for the f##king life of me remember where, and it was just a one off as Goldfinger were performing before them, and they let them use it.

Weird eh?

respect, bro! you put one over on the godfather of all things punk. if you like goldfinger try a bit of operation ivy. check out classic tracks like unity, bombshell or sound system.
it's great to be on a site where people actually appreciate good music, much better than certain other sites i could mention.

I know what you mean, but you'll be shocked to hear that I listen to everything from R&B, Hip-hop and Rap to Punk and Metal, just depends on my mood.

a mixture of music is a good thing, i like stuff ranging from godspeed you black emperor, morrissey, weezer and low through to the aislers set, pixies etc etc etc. some masochistic people don't seem to listen to anything other than robbie williams and cockney rebel though.

Yeah, they need to learn theres more than one type of music out there, and the more you listen to the better.

I've got a problem with Operation Ivy though, and had it ever since I heard their version of I Wanna Be Sedated, and what a f##k up it is IMO.

Thank god no-one ever tried to cover Blitzkreig Bop, well no-one i'd recognise for it anyway.
