*cough cough*

John :D

But being honest, I think you would be really good at doing that. You've got experience, you can design stuff and you know Photoshop.

I might just apply for that. Cheers for the post. And for anyone wishing to apply for such a position usual programs to be versed in are Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and perhaps a bit of Flash MX.

You cheeky bastard!!!

But you're not wrong.  I'm on my fifth can of the afternoon and I'm going out at half-six for a mad one tonight.  :eyebrow

No, I'll not be applying for this, I'm going to relaunch my own site in a few weeks.  It's just a hobby for me, but I like my site.  I've been getting e-mails and recognition from places as far as China and Japan from people who like the animations I have ripped off.  They use them as mobile phone screensavers as they're only GIF files.  It's quite satisfying knowing that at the time of typing, there has been 16,600 people at least who have visited my site.

I think I could do web design though, although being very honest, with my lack of professional experience, I wouldn't get a look in at LFC.  I have designed a few sites though so I'm not necessarily a beginner.

Whenever you log onto LFC.tv there is usually an advertisement splash screen for Credit Cards or the official shop or something that's been clearly designed using slices in Photoshop or Illustrator then exported as HTML.  To be honest, it's the easiest way of designing websites, but if you can hand code professionally, you can get a lot more flamboyant and dynamic designs.  I can competently hand code in Microsoft Visual Basic, but not HTML which is the programming language for websites, although I can get by if I need to and I do understand it when I look at it.  It's because I use Dreamweaver which makes web design very simple to be honest.  I myself prefer the easy way as I'm quite lazy.

By the way, if anyone is interested in having a go themselves at designing or starting up, I'm willing to offer advice to any beginners.  Dward has been PMing me about making signatures.  I'm moving on to more difficult designs when I do the next batch.  I might be making Ginger Sid more abstract for the new season!!!

:D
