MORIENTES RELISHING DEBUT V MAN U

Fernando Morientes is hoping his transfer to Liverpool can be completed in time for a mouthwatering debut against Manchester United on Saturday.

The Spanish striker is still to agree terms with the Reds and pass a medical at Anfield before the deal can be completed, but Rafael Benitez is hoping to include him for the first time when Alex Ferguson brings his United side to Liverpool this weekend.

Morientes said his farewells in Spain this morning and revealed he turned down other clubs after setting his heart on a transfer to Anfield.

David " Yup , he coming to Liverpool and maybe he will be playing on Sat but don't wory I will do my best to stop him "
Sir Alex " ****** ! if not Sunday morning , I think I going to prepare my resume ! "
David " Talking about resume ... Do you want some tips , because I have just completed mine "
