Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Bad news indeed. I feel sorry for the boy. Hes so young, and i would hat to think this could be a career threatening injury. The result was bad but could have been worse. AS carra said afterwards, well be ok and im sure we will be.

Hang in there Momo. The next leg is gonna be dedicated to you!!!!

a mate of mine suffered a detached retina a few years back, he's fine now but had a real scare about losing sight in that eye. apparently the key is getting specialist attention absolutely AS SOON AS POSSIBLE after it occurs, which i would imagine momo got. good luck to the big fella  :)

I just wanted to say that like most people i was depressed before but that pales into insignificance after hearing this news- i thought it was bad the way he didn't move afterwards- which is unusual for just a cut.

poor guy- hope he recovers fully and plays again soon.

Hi 1st time poster here

Do you think its a case of what goes around comes around? What with the abuse by certain idiots of Alan Smith at the weekened?

I was one of those who clapped him off the pitch
