In my opinion Brum made more of the 37% than you did about the 63%.

I cant recall Zenden or Pongo creating anything, I thought Alonsos game was not upto standard (I rate him highly and iv said that 100 times before on here)

Gerrard was the only driving factor in the 2nd half and the fact that hyypia was crossing in from the left and Carra making runs in the center underlined the weakness of your attack.

These are just my thoughts , I thought it was a poor performance and I stand by that.

I know Rafa is capable of better and I know he will show that in the next game, I have followed him for a few years now and have a lot of respect for what he has achieved in the given time.

U really are taking the :censored: now fella!
Will u fu.ck off and stop patronising us we are not thick on here!

Chelsea forever. wrote:The first half was the most boring 45 iv ever seen in my life. Players were stationary, tactics were non-existent and everyone kept losing the ball.

The second half started even worse, I think all 20 players must have presented the opposition with the ball at least 3 or 4 times. I couldn’t understand Rafa's approach to the game and I thought he got it completely wrong to start with.

Garcia on and yet no change. One quick move and Garcia scores, 7 minutes later Liverpool are down 2-1. Reina - pathetic! Then a stupid hand ball in the penalty box, a red card a penalty and its 2-2! Crouch had a good chance to win the game but his header summed up his performance.

---

Birmingham were the better team, they created more chances and I must say Pennant and Gray turned Josemi and Warnok inside out quite a few times. They looked most lively and a lot of Liverpool players looked simply not bothered at trying to create a chance.

Best player on the pitch - between Pennant and Julian gray

Best Liverpool player - IMO all had a bad game but I will credit Gerrard with a total of 10 minutes of good play and Carragher with a total of 5.

Most stupid player - Garcia. Is getting subbed and takes his ring out, puts it in his mouth to try and conn the ref, gets on and takes it out of his mouth and gets caught so has to give it to the bench. Then throws the ball away and gets a Yellow.

--

This was a dreadful performance and if this is the way you are going to play there is no telling what the future holds. Cisse was on for 10 minutes before he got his first touch.

Reina was very bad with that goal he gifted and the 2nd one went in off his shoulder.

Josemi was poor, Zenden was pathetic, Pongo was also sad. Alonso surprisingly didnt have a good game either and Crouch was poor too.

Rafa better change his formation because this is obviously not working.

You're a fecking joke. Birmingham the better team? In the first half we played like we were the home side instead of them. It wasn't until the second-half that they upped their game and we could had won that game by a couple of goals. Gerrard hit the post, missed a chance to score in the second half and Crouch missed a sitter.

Feck off  and stick to cricket, sad pathetic b@stard.

To me you have to live and breathe your football team and have passion for the history of the club you have enjoyed and agonised over, throughout the years. Not suddenly between watching the odd cricket match and eating the odd madras think i know i will support Chelsea in another country and tell Liverpool fans how their team should play.....

It's very hard to stick up for CF after this post. Not only does he breach the unwritten rule of decency about keeping your council when you find yourself in somebody else's front room at a time of distress, but he also is wide of the mark factually.
CF, I thought Liverpool were very disappointing today but if you REALLY think that Crouch was useless, or even more unbelieveably that Birmingham were the better team then you are without any resemblance of a clue with regards to the game of association football whatsoever.

there are 3 lessons to be learnt here:

1) Chelsea Forever has shown his hand and revealed to us the he does indeed know nothing about the game of association football. A blind monkey could see that although we were poor we were still clearly the better side

2) Bigmick it's counSEL not counCIL in the context in which you use the word :;):

3) Josemi is cr@p

That's what I was dreading, I'll be seriously watching my p's & q's from now on :D

Back on topic I normally quite enjoy reading CF's posts but I have a slight suspicion he may even be on a deliberate wind-up today. I'm biased obviously but I fail to see how ANYONE could say Birmingham were the better side and keep a straight face, even Steve Bruce. We were poor and I was disappointed in our lack of adventure in the first half but then the 2nd half we seemed to lose all concentration and started giving the ball away cheaply. Were it not for Gerrard exerting a bit of influence on the game it would've had no entertainment value whatsoever. Birmingham were even poorer however, apart from Gray & Pennant's work down the wings and Melchiot trying to get forward as much as he could they had nothing to offer whatsoever. Forsell made Cisse look like a well-oiled scoring machine. Reina looked a bit suspect, not just for the 2 goal incidents but a couple of other occasions he flapped at crosses as well. Hyypia had a decent game though. 2 things missing today were Sissoko and his energy and urgency, and a strike partner for Crouch in the first 65 minutes - I'm not sure how long my patience will last with playing 4-5-1 against teams who we are clearly capable of beating if we take the game to them

PS it's thesaurus not theOsuarus :D
