Riise, won every header and was pretty inventive attacking, and that through ball he played for milan was just sublime, loved his celebration, "TOO EASY!!"  :p

Can you tell me what was actually wrong with that corner. As I saw it the ball was in play and available for anyone to play it.

Its nice to actually be able to have a few candidates for Man of the Match.

And Peewee, that linesman was a total disgrace.

That corner was an absolutely genius piece of work, and ruined by the inept liner.

The linesman in the first 20 or 30 minutes looked like he was freaked out by the occasion. His late calling of Kewell's offside smacked of nerves and panic to me.

Considering some of linesmans early decisions in the first 15 minutes  i was amazed that Garcia goal wasnt called offside, considering Garica has sadly a track record in that regard

I rekon it should go to the Leverkusen keeper for not even moving towards the two freekicks we scored from :D :D :D

Nah seriously Igor :blues:

i saw something recentley on tv with an ex pro talking about that type of corner and its totally legal. this is the problem with throwins as well, ive mentioned this before, if a player throws the ball to his team mate on  the pitch to let him take the throw in, then the first throw must be a foul throw

I'd have to give it to Carrager. He was the only defender we could bank on. Nobody in midfield really dominated. Garcia did well at times though.

I thought that in the 1st half the whole team did excellently.  They showed commitment and passion, and wanted to fight for every ball, often catching BL players in possession.

In the 2nd half they let BL back into the fight - not closing them down as fast.

And Dudek, some good saves, but lacks self belief and concentration....enough said about him

Igor was awesome. Even telling the rest of the lads where to go.

Harry had a fine game too, his running and movement and determination to stretch their defence was great to see.

Riise and hamann where brilliant aswell.
Two of our poor performers where dudek and baros.

No way it was Igor. A few very good runs and passes but he wasn't there apart from that, lost the ball quite a bit too.
Riise is the man :)

Agree about Biscan - lost possession quite a bit.
Carra is my MOM - his tireless performance, and bossing his fellow team mates.
