I dont understand why we miss so many chances, surely we do training on how to stick a ball in a net, that is the aim of the game after all

Or has rafa just bought loads of players who just dont have natural scoring ability

I heard in training we only use cones and bubbles, nets make things tricky

For crying out loud we got a well derseved point in a game once again we totaly dominated ,an should of won but yet once again the sniping starts.

yes and I'm sure we are all very relieved to get lucky with a soft penalty to earn a point instead of taking a game by the scruff of the neck and dominating it to the extent of actually converting some good chances and winning by a few goals.
It's clear we have a different definition of domination, domination in my book is what Spurs did to us in the last 20 minutes at WHL, it is not what we did to Atletico tonight!
Anyway please tell me Nanny if you agreed with Keane getting taken off?

They should have had 2 penalties for handballs (mascherano and carragher, both way more obvious than both our handball penalty shouts) and our penalty was never a penalty in a million years...

We were fckin poor in every area of the pitch and saying that our fullbacks were probably the bet performers today kind of says it all really..

Rafa got it all wrong again today with the subs and the one man upfront setup but we got lucky yet again !
Need Torres back asap because atm, we'r a poor poor side with no attacking threat whatsoever !

Riera in the 4-2-3-1 goes missing and defo doesnt get the best out of him... same with gerrard, alonso, keane, pennant..etc...
need to start playing to our strengths and for now that would be going back to a 2man upfront setup..

We are a poor poor side,sitting top of the League.
We have beaten UTD,Chelsea(away) and won in probably the biggest derby in Europe(away) as well.We have 10 points out of 12 in the C/L and are a certainty to qualify!

god forbid u come out and give a sensible assesment of the game once in a while...

while the manutd and chelsea wins were huge for us i dont think that changes the fact that we'r a poor side going forward one bit.. chelsea game we played well but wouldnt go as far as saying we attacked welll.. manutd game was won by 2 lucky goals so dont see howw that makes us such a great side going forward either... pretty much every game we played 1 striker upfront when torres wasnt available we'v struggled to score and more often than not it was bringing  a second striker and a winger to play very wide that saved us games... but then again i wouldnt expect u to notice anything !

And when have I ever said we should win after every game?A draw was a fair result tonight.They scored a well made and taken goal on the counter and we dominated them for about 90% of the game!

We are not a great side going forward?Ok well maybe not..but just now!We have the best striker on the planet on his way back to fitness and the fella that was bought to support him,who's confidence is shot to shi'te working his rear off.If Torres can make it back in time for December and him and Keane can both stay fit there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that given a few weeks you wont be saying"we are sh'te going forward"
Yeah we miss Torres but thats the way it is,any team in the world would miss him!
Have to say well done to Atletico tonight,especially their defenders and the guy that kept getting back from M/F(sorry dont know their names)

listen we didnt dominate ... if thats dominating a game then i dont want us dominating any more games starting now... we couldnt even create any clear chances so whats the point of 'dominating' them... im sure if we decide to play Lucas along with Mascherano and Alonso and Gerrard we'd dominate sides even more... im not buying into the whole we'v dominated them so we deserve a point nonsense ! we couldnt create any chances and they were 1-0 up so it was only natural that they'd sit bak and that we'd go forward and have more of the possession ! MY PROBLEM IS THAT WE DIDNT DO SHT WITH THE POSSESSION WE HAD ! the subs didnt help and the fact that our players play the way they do (althought its not theyr fault in all honesty) meant that Rafa should have been the one dictating the game with his tactics and substitutions to make us look better going forward... what he did was make us look worse !
we'r missing torres im with you on that and any side would miss him hes a fantastic player and probably the best we have at the club along with an interested gerrard..but his absence isnt an excuse for us to play the way we did today !
We have Keane and Kuyt who can both play up there and would do a whole lot better that that N'gog kid would... Why not play them ?! why not play a decent right winger who can actually cross down the right instead of having kuyt stuck down there like a corner flag ? his crossing is awful at times and i think its become fairly clear to everyone thats hes a much better striker than he is a right winger ? why is he still playing there when we'r 1-0 down, in desperate need of a striker, and are crossing from wide areas to try and create something ?!

I dont think we dominated, i dont think we deserved a draw, i dont think rafa got his subs right, i think we'r a poor side going forward when torres is out of the side and rafa is playing 1 upfront.. i dont think we have any striker besides torres who would actually appreciate being played alone upfront...

It's frustrating and im telling you... i think you either have very low expectations or ur just very biased in ur assesments !

That was one of the worst performances by an English team I've seen this year. Liverpool were unbelievably lucky to get away from that nonsense with a point...from an ill-judged penalty decision too.

All the faults were on display again...a single man up front, no real support, terrible terrible passing and snap shots and generally weak attempts at finishing.

A very, very poor performance that exposes Liverpool's serious short comings in the attacking part of the field.

But by far the worst aspect from tonights game was the incredibly poor passing. Everyone was guilty of giving the ball away in the most cheap manner. Especially bad tonight was Alvaro Arbeloa. A truly pathetic performance. I lost count at how many times Liverpool gave the ball away in the first half.

Hopefully Torres will be fully fit soon, because Rafa is running low on "get out of jail cards".

great... so basically you just come on after the games to pick on posters who have anything negative or constructive to add..
