What's that gotta do with it?

Prentice is a bad bluenose

 taken from a site discussing Chelsea.....

Wycombe Please (Not Liverpool)

With the Carling Cup semi-final draw scheduled to take place shortly after noon this Saturday, we canvassed opinion, via our poll, as to who you would prefer.

With Wycombe being considered the underdogs for the competition and rightly or wrongly seen as a probable soft touch, it came as no real surprise that a massive 55% of you opted to play the League 2 side. Personally, I think it`d make a nice touch to save them for the final.

In second place came Sp*rs, my own preference, with 28% of the vote. Although their Egyptian striker, Mido, has expressed a wish to play us in the final in Cardiff, I`d like to take them apart over two legs and let them suffer the agony a semi-final defeat brings. As the saying goes, revenge is a dish best served cold.

With one of the quarter-final ties delayed, due to fog, 15% of you opted to play Arsenal in the last four whilst a meagre 2% opted for Liverpool .  Looks like memories of our recent cup defeats to Liverpool are still festering, or perhaps you`d prefer to make it two Carling Cup Final victories in three years.

So there you have it, your preference is Wycombe with avoiding Liverpool a strong option.

:rasp   you bunch of bottlers!!    scared are we eh..... Mwwwooooohhaaaaahhh!!!  bring 'em on Jose - you sour faced wazzock.   :;):   mind you, gotta get past these lot first...

They know that if we get to the final, we'll beat them.

And we are chasing them in the league too. Keeping slipping up Chelski.

Pressure is getting to them.

My brother-in law is a (so called) dyed in the wool gooner....last season i heard him state that.. "If he (henry) goes to Barcelona...ill follow your lot!"   and this time round - after the debacle at Bramall Lane.."Wenger needs to move on!!"     (fickle?..)  MY sister's even caught him wearing her away top once! ..so we might well end up with another convert after next week. (mind you, anyone that changes their colours that easily is NOT the kind of fan i want my club to have cheering em on) Family or not.

the poor sod still hasnt got over Mikey, 5 years ago... :nod

i think we can win the carling cup this season for the sole reason that we seem to be going down in cups since rafa took over.....champ league, then fa cup now carling cup its inevitable!! he missed the premiership by accident but hope we can make a good go for it next season.

btw this is not a dig at rafa or the team just an observation a fellow red put accross to me....

i think the match on tuesday is a chance to prove something to the fans for the team and i hope they take the opportunity...we deserve it after the ups and downs of this season and most of all because of the support they received on saturday, which i think scared them
