if you just look at the first page on this as the rest is about manure you can see we are not that far behind major clubs in revenue.

what i find interesting is newcastle earn more than chelski but that may change when all the bandwagon jumpers in asia start to but merchandise.

when we win champions league this year we can expect to see profits sore next year with the extra merchandise revenue, i cant see any raise in matchday unless we put prices up as we sell out every game anyway. also tv rights are pretty much shared between the clubs.

we should push more on merchandising and capitalise on champions league success which will hopefully bring more supporters to our great club, get the youngsters interested out here in asia, get the people who dont remember our glorious past. extra revenue means more money for players so i think liverpool need to increase their marketing strategy and flood the markets with products to capitalise

peewee, as you are residing in Malaysia, surely you are aware of the massive support LFC has in Malaysia. It is not as large as manure, but I'd say that it is the second largest EPL team being supported here, with Arsenal close (or perhaps slightly larger following due to their more recent successes and the beauty of their game). This mirrors the situation in Asia.

The only thing is that Liverpool have not tapped the merchandising potential like Manure and probably Arsenal. Liverpool should look into merchandising more in Asia to get additional revenue.

this is the point im trying to make, we both know we can buy fake shirts here so the revenue from shirt sales wont be high, but i think we should start to look at other products that will sell
