You've gotta be kidding mighty mo - this has to be one of the worst red shirts that we've ever had. The size of the collar has really gotta be questioned I mean you could see the feckin' thing from the international space station with the naked eye. Yes adidas have made some nice shirts for us in the past and they are making nice shirts now for some teams but don't forget these are the people that even though we'd never had green in any of our kits before they just suddenly decided that it should be our away kit colour for the best part of 6 years. I for one am waiting with a little apprehension to see what their first LFC kit looks like.

funny this is the only shirt i did not buy...i hate it

Is this change of shirt design linked to the Adidas take over of Reebok or is it a seperate deal? If it's seperate then we're going to get all new jersey's, which we might get anyway. I think the CL jersey is going to be explained as a way to celebrate winning the 5t European Cup and was only meant for the season anyway.

What's getting me is that my little bro wants the Liverpool tracksuits for Christmas. The things gonna be out of date in a few months

The "sneak peek" was released on 25/11/2005 as follows:-

WHILE the Carlsberg logo is to remain on the front of the Liverpool shirt after the brewer renewed its sponsorship deal with the European champions, supporters will still need to buy new replica kit next season to stay up to date after the club struck a deal to switch sportswear supplier. From July, Liverpool kit will be supplied by adidas, which endorses Steven Gerrard, instead of Reebok. The move is unrelated to the impending £2.1 billion merger between the two sportswear companies.

The "rumoured design" is like this...though I can hardly believe it to be true.  :buttrock

To be fair to Adidas the mid 90's wasn't the best time for footbal shirts by any manufacturer. :D

All sense of style went out the window in those days.

At least we're not like Manure. The "Red" Devils wearing a blue kit, when their closest rival Man City wears a blue kit. Couldn't imagine LFC wearing blue...

They haven't previously have they?

The first ever shirt in 1892 was blue/white just like Blackburn Rovers!!  :nod

Shirts since the 60s have the following colours:
red / white / yellow / silver-grey / green / ecru / orange / dark-grey...

TBH Michael mate i think the picture that you link to
Image
has only been a mock-up done or found by somebody on here as an example of what Adidas might hopefully do with our kit. I think at this early stage there are unlikely to be any firm designs for the shirt and it'll only be very early spring next year before we see any possible designs. If it was anything like the above pic i'd be well masde up 'cos for ages i've been calling for the return of the pinstripes on one of our shirts.

I've said before that i don't think adidas have made too many good liverpool shirts in the past but this one that has already been posted is my all time favourite.

Image

I just hope they don't revive the predominanetly green kits 'cos every single one of them have been horrible.

I truly hope that adidas will go for the above design (no not the birdcrap one!) because it is modern with a classic touch. The best way, i think to determine how our kit will look like is just by lookin at how adidas designs the current kits that they supply.

Green is a no no for me. I feel we should go for a white one with the badge and carslberg sponsor in red with red stripes a la ac milan away kit.

The best guide as you say lash is to look at current adidas kits but DON'T go on the current club kits as they will mostly be outdated by next summer; the best guideline will be the international shirts and on reflection we are already starting to see them i.e. spain, argentina, france and germany have all recently unveiled new shirts that'll be used next summer in the WC (i don't mean toilet  :)  ) so it is possible that our new kit will contain features that are already appearing in these shirts as Adidas and Nike and even Reebok are all getting lazy now and just coming up with one design of shirt and varying the colours for each team.

Here are some examples of next years WC adidas shirts:

I know that Addidas own Reebok so maybe the shirt design will stay the same and only the branding will change.

As for the home and away kit, there set to be replaced next season anyway.

Just a thought.

Well...these are my thoughts.

When the CL shirt was first launched at the onlineshop, we see the caption as "2005/2007 Champions League Shirt"....

Later on, it was quoted as "2005/2006 Champions League Shirt" nearly the end of November.

Of course, you can see now it's an "undated" shirt at the status of sold-out. What's the implication you think? :buttrock

Well....all these shirts shown are my collections.

Regarding the "dark black" shirt, sorry it should be the film development problem. It's actually just the same 1991-92 ugly green Candy "adidas equipment" away shirt. It's the authentic player shirt which has embroidered club crest as contrasted with rubber-embossed on the replica.
