Liverpool kit from 2006 - Bye bye reebok

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Red @ Heart » Wed Dec 14, 2005 7:25 am

my favourite Liverpool away kit was the green and white quarter one, not sure if it was Adidas or Reebok who manufactured it and cant even recall which season it belonged too.

P.S can someone find a pic for it cos i cant for the life of me find it. OH and was it the away kit to the red one above with the giant collar cos i cant remember that too :help  ?

EDIT:
never mind i found the pic i was after, and there is a few more some of you would like to see, you know like taking a trip down memory lane :p

This is great news for us and im not bothered at all about having to buy new shirts again next season. We are always complaining about not capitalising on our merchandise, well it looks like we are definately doing that here.

Oh no, I hate Adidas kits, Reebok are so much nicer.

To be fair to Adidas the mid 90's wasn't the best time for footbal shirts by any manufacturer. :D

Will the European shirt actually change??
I know that Addidas own Reebok so maybe the shirt design will stay the same and only the branding will change.

As for the home and away kit, there set to be replaced next season anyway.

Just a thought.

Obviosly the new kit's will have to be held off and both home and away will come out together.

wasnt that the time when fowler had bleached hair, if i remember correctly the 2 goals he scored against Schmeical were at his near post, no keeper should concede at their near post.

oh and by the way i really like that spanish looking shirt, i would defo buy it if liverpool used it.

This has really p1ssed me off as i have just payed £55 quid for the new european shirt with name, numbers and patches on the understanding that it was going to have a shelf life of two years.
I know there has been some form of discussion over the rumours on here recently but I'd like to see what everybody now feels about the subject now that it has been confirmed.

I mentioned this at the time of its release.  It's out of order to bring out a kit (worth 40-50 quid) and scrap it after 1 season. Hence i only buy 1 shirt every 2 years.

Don't think the European strip is guartenteed for 2 seasons is it?

What if we didnt qualify?? :D

I'm very happy at this news, Ive not liked the Reebok strips for several reasons, quality & design never been great and I associate with smaller clubs like Bolton.
Adidas would have always been my choice, Nike are nice too but very common nowadays.
Also I'd like the away tops to go back to white!

It's not like it even last a season. They didn't bring it out till half way through the group stages!!!!!
