The Oxford English Dictionary definition of bitter is:-
(a) an emotion caused by or showing mental pain or resentment as in bitter memories, bitter rejoinder by living in LFC's shadow.

(b) painful or difficult to accept as in bitter disappointment in the fact that LFC is a bigger and better club has more money more fans worldwide, a better manager and better players.

No offence meant Saint, but I've never seen anything written by that tribalfootball website which turned out to be even the slightest hint of a rumour, never mind fact.

I haven't looked at pages 2,3 and 4 of tihs thread yet (I'm replying to the first post without reading on).  I think it's safe to say Juventus can fuck right off with their Serie B before anyone would join them.

Who in their right mind would sell such a unique talent like Sissoko?  Clearly we're seen as tabloid fodder or fools.

Sissoko is going nowhere in my opinion.  Wouldn't normally reply to this but he's such an important part of Liverpool Football Club after about 60 games that it would be unthinkable to sell him.

If Everton would have nabbed him last season though for the £5-6 million they were offering Valencia before we signed him, it's fair to say in all honesty (and nothing against Everton for once) that considering his first season in English football made European sides clearly sit up and notice him they would have cashed in on him for at least double what they paid for him.  How they''ve still got Cahill and Arteta surprises me.  Cahill especially.  Maybe that's just me not being objective though and putting the boot in though because of my obvious hatred for Everton.

I wouldn't sell him for anything less than what we paid for Djibril Cisse.  Sissoko could be worth at least £15 million already in transfer value I reckon.
