But that would simply do us out of a transfer fee, our best hope of cutting losses. Unless we can Mutu him and claim he cost us money. Quick, someone get him hooked on drugs................. (if he isn't already)

Owzat is pennant your knew crouch??

:sleep

So I'm not allowed to think players are substandard. You're not as sharp witted as you'd like to think you are, the obvious "knew crouch" would be misses Keane

I am a Liverpool fan first and foremost, you might be happy with some of the dross Rafa signs, but I can't believe anyone would think Pennant is Liverpool standard - except maybe GBJH who I don't recall seeing around much, unless he changed his name through shame at this thread. But if you need to make your stupid remarks to amuse yourself when plenty on here are talking of selling not only Pennant, but up to seven or ten players in January, then knock yourself out. Maybe you are just stupid enough to think you are clever, how would you know otherwise? Just when I was thinking you'd left your stupid days behind you and were settling down

hahaha... harshhhh

Lazy, doesn't score, doesn't create much, awful attitude, overpaid with an over inflated opinion of himself! Who'd miss him and just look at the sort of teams that are interested in him! Benitez cannot be totally blamed for many of the lack lustre buys by Liverpool since his arrival. The scouting system and youth system just are not working the way they used to. How many players have been bought or who have come through the youth system you could sell and make a profit or you would want to keep around?
Net Spend Over The Last 5 Years 20/21 to 24/25  (10 years

Spurs €571m (€684m)
Chelsea €945m (€1051m)
Man City €370m (€1038m)

In all fairness everyone's entitled to a night out etc.
I tend to go out at least once a fortnight, and get quite annoyed when work start asking questions about my nights out, time spent outside of work is to be fair very little to work, long as itsn't affecting it. If he is repeatedly turning up late for training (which there is no hard proof off) because of this then fair enough the club need to do something. Remember how annoyed you get with journo's over exagerating things to make a story, surely your not to blind to see that here.

The player hasn't played to his best off late but he hasn't really been on the pitch, ask yourself are you just jumping on the he's a lazy, drunk, good for nothing, band wagon because your frustrated with his performances or have you actually seen hard proof.

The article has no dates etc this could have been taken during the summer break, or for his birthday or something, don't take anything on face value.

all i know is that hes impressed in a red jersey more than he hasnt... first season he arrived he was one of our better performers and deserved his spot in the starting 11 and not many argued that.... last season he played well till he got injured then couldnt get a game after he got back... when he did i dont remember him being all that bad either... this season he was given a few starts and he did very well in 2 out of 3 games hes played so i dont really understand where all the negativity comes from... whats even more puzzling is people coming out saying yea well hes got all the talent in the world but he doesnt deserve to get any time on the pitch... ???  Not like we got Messi down the right flank and we'r asking him to warm the bench so that Pennant would get a game... surely the right side is still a problem and anyone who thinks that Kuyt scoring a coupla goals means the end of our problems down that right side doesnt hav a clue imo...

When Kuyt doesnt score he might aswell not be on that pitch... and dont tell me he works hard and tracks back and all the nonsense cause when you have Mascherano, Alonso, Gerrard and 4 defenders out there you just quite simly dont need more cover at the back... you need someone with flair who make a difference going forward in terms of CREATING and scoring... Riera isnt quite the done article yet he's shown he has ability but is yet to make a decisive impact... hes offered balance and that along with other things helped us get to where we are now...

Back to Pennant.... its getting pretty boring now... Its obvious Rafa has something against Pennant because clearly given our options he should be getting more playing time... I expect him to leave soon but we desperately need a right midfielder because at the moment if you look at our starting 11 that seems to be the our weakest position... We struggle to break teams and AGAIN..if it wasnt for Arbeloa Kuyt would have looked p.iss poor down the right because i cant even remember the last time he beat a man or even put a good cross for any of our forwards.... hes scored a few goals but again...thats all hes done...

I think Diouf has done enough since leaving to show he isn't that bad. Even managed seven goals last season in a struggling Bolton side

Yossi is such a better player, so intelligent with the ball, gets into space and a good eye for goal. Pennant on the other hand can whip in a  good ball, but is often a passenger. Yossi is the type of player to take control of a game, two hattricks last season I believe?

Sorry for that post, but i just get so fustrated i feel he is a good english lad maybe not the best but instead of embrrassing the players we tear them to shreds.

i just don't know anymore  :(   :no .

I'm just glad we are not in a dog fight at the bottom of the
table because the way we talk about the players they
might of just give up on us.
