blimey, i remember that game. chesterfield were in the old third division and we were very nearly humiliated on our own patch. if i remember rightly we were 3-0 and 4-2 down.

1974 against Derby, sat in main stand with uncle and mate who went on to support Leeds for some obscure reason.I was hooked after football was far more entertaining then.I was there for the hand over of management from Shanks to sir bob and witnessed in the next season or two great flair players visiting our great team, such as your tony curries, stan bowles, alan hudsons, frank worthingtons, peter barnes of this world against our great great red team that went on to conquer europe.I loved Anfield and my place on the kop in the 70's.

1982 and a crazy 3-3 draw against Luton in the league. And yes, Red Ant, our 3 goals were scored past 3 different keepers. I also remember Kenny scoring and me not realising for nearly a minute that it had been ruled out for offside !

1st memory of Anfield was back in easter of 91 or 90 i was over from Dublin with my football club we used to come over every easter, and they would bring us to 2 games either liverpool / everton or the ahem scumchester utd,  anyway i got my photo taking with ronnie whelan in the car park of the most fameous ground, but the real red's were away to arsenal that day and lost 4-0, on a brighter note ronnie signed the back of my ticket of the match we were going to, everton v city...strange day that.!!
