6th August for Champions league I believe

That's for the third round of CL qualifiers. Remember Alonso and Garcia weren't registered on time for the CL qualifiers but they played later on.

i agree about the signing/registration of new faces sooner rather than later.. due to settling in etc
for obvious reasons.

Reports tonight suggest that Inter will unveil Figo and Samuel as their new signings in the next 48 hours.

With the sale of Davids, Inter can now offer Figo the money he wants.

Im impatient as well but i rather a late quality signing then a early dubious one

Last season Josemi was signed off fairly early in the piece and Alonso and Garcia arrived in the nick of time

Well theres the other problem
You can jump up and down all you like wanting star transfers but if there is no one available then there isnt much the manager can do about it.
If the media reports are to be believed we arent the only club at the moment who getting frustrated in trying to sign new players

good point laza, it's been pretty quiet on the transfer scene so far this summer. We have been by far the most active with Manure only buying Van der Sar and Park Ji Sung, while Arsenal have only bought Hleb and sold Viera, and Chlesea have bought Del Horno and SWP.

From the reports on BBC's site it don't look like Figo will be playing in a red shirt this season :(

I think that rather than just waiting Parry should get on the phone to his agent and get sh1.t sorted cos it's obvious that Inter haven't sat on their ar5es waiting for Figo to return from Japan.

and it's obvious all that about 'always wanting to play for liverpool' & 'it's my dream to play for the Reds' was all a crock of sh!te. Figo is interested in the cash, not the club. Well good luck Figo, you had your chance but now you've missed it.
