FA CUP 4TH RND DRAW THREAD - pompey away

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby stmichael » Mon Jan 09, 2006 2:11 pm

Just over 20 minutes to go now until the 4th round draw for the FA Cup takes place.

There are 18 Premiership sides in the draw, which takes place at the Football Association headquarters at Soho Square, with Fulham and Tottenham the third-round casualties.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1 West Bromwich Albion/Reading
2 Leyton Orient
3 Coventry
4 Wolves
5 Port Vale
6 Charlton
7 Torquay/Birmingham
8 Manchester City
9 Newcastle United
10 Liverpool
11 Preston North End
12 Stoke City/Tamworth
13 Derby County
14 Southampton
15 Blackburn
16 Arsenal
17 Brentford
18 West Ham
19 Portsmouth
20 Wigan/Leeds United
21 Sunderland
22 Chelsea
23 Cheltenham Town/Chester City
24 Leicester
25 Bolton Wanderers
26 Colchester
27 Nuneaton Borough/Middlesbrough
28 Aston Villa
29 Barnsley/Walsall
30 Burton/Manchester United
31 Crystal Palace
32 Millwall/Everton

I'd take anybody at home to be honest, although lower league option would obviously be preferable.

Please keep all reaction here. Cheers.

As you said st, I would also prefer a home draw. Although lower league opposition can be seen as an easy path through to the final. None of these ties are easy. The draw I'd prefer is sunderland at home.

I'll take anyone at home.

Preferably a low league team so we can rest a few players
