Diouf  coming back to liverpool? - Talk sports

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby lakes10 » Mon Nov 01, 2004 10:58 am

on talk sports  they are saying that Diouf will meet liverpool today to talk about him being called back into the liverpool team till march. Bolton can not stop this as it is a part ofthe loan deal ,Diouf is the only one that can have a say and Bolton will be asking him to stay.

I personally don't want him back.  Even give Mellor another crack before bringing him back.

Does anyone think Rafa could get anything out of him?  He just looks lazy and happy to be picking a fat pay cheque up.  He never, ever looked like a Liverpool player.

Rafa didn't even give him a squad number until Owen left.

He also tried to sign Diouf when he was manager of Valencia and by all accounts very nearly did.  An eleventh hour telephone call from Houllier changed his mind and he signed for us, which then meant Anelka left the club.

It could have been so different for all parties when you think about it.

Come on lads stop talking ******.   Just look what Rafa's done to some off the other Houllier gimps.  I think Diouff could be transformed into a Liverpool player bye the manager at the helm.

Diouf under Rafa could be wonderful,  an after paying 10 million for him its not a case off letting him have a second chance.  Its a case in having too.

Diouff was on fire!!!!!!!!!!!

Rick Parry is in the carribean sort of couldnt stand the heat over the millwall incident surely he has a say on whether diouff comes back or not, incidently bolton are on a roll suppose we could take him back and keep him warming the bench instead of helping bolton get more points :;): But his atitude stinks towards liverpool very arrogant at the fact hes getting paid mega bucks for f@ck all.

he has the potential murphy, and perhaps under Rafa his behaviour would improve as if he keeps his attitude from his previos 2 seasons with us, Rafa will not put up with him for very long.

I would see it as a bit of a risk but as you say murphy after paying 10 million we have to try and get something out of him.

I still would rather see guys like Baros, Garcia, Pongolle and perhaps Mellor play ahead of him, but if he was to return I would be happy to see him prove us all wrong.

we where without owen and baros last season and still got CL place so I dont see the panic we have better players than Heskey now in the team, plus we wont go all season without replacing Cisse, Le Tallec came on 66th minute so hell be getting match fit again, bring him back.
