We have no real strikers available for next week. So this is a time for being creative I guess.

What do you guys reckon?

Will Benitez put somebody like Riise,Nunez or Gerrard up front?

Will he force Kewell or Garcia to play with minor injuries?

Or will he try a young gun like Le Tallec or an old dog like Smicer?

I don't know who I'd prefer. Convince me.

Isnt Nunez a striker aswell? He had a brilliant game on sunday as did pellegrino our defence is looking some what better ???  Will sammi loose his place? So overall maybe our spanish signings arnt as bad as we first thought, not sure about josemi tho.

Yeah but im sure our spanish signings will have bad game sooner or later and then be written off as lightweight, over the hill, sticking to the law books etc etc  :D

The Bolton defence is quite big and a lot of the players listed aren't exactly big lads, I'd like to see how Tony Le Tallec does if he gets a chance. :)

i just hope that rafa is putting le tallec through some serious training in the extra time we have before the bolton game. he's the only proper striker we have so he must be the one to start.

It's a tough one.   I've voted for Le Tallec, as he seems to be the best option available.  But he's really more of an attacking midfielder than a striker.  But what other viable choice do we have? ???

But I am sure he will play, and I hope he can live up to some of that early promise and high transfer fee. He has long been described as one that will eventually be a first teamer but things haven't materialised for some reason. But this could be just the chance that he needs.

Mellors out for the rest of the season aint he? Some operation I understand. It was said 10 - 15 days for Morientes, so hopefully the 10 days'll be enuff, we're gonna need someone good in the air to take on Bolton.
Stu Averill, a wannabe Scouse/Scot. I remember the good times & have faith in them comin back

Beside the Hillsborough Flame, I heard a Koppite mournin, "Why so many taken on that day?" Justice has never been done. But their memory we'll carry on. There'll be Glory Round The Fields Of Anfield Road
